Sleeping in Roger Federer’s Bed

Deadspin turned us on (no pun, of course, intended….really…)  to Roger Federer’s  suite at the Carlyle, where he stays only during the US Open every year.

Highlights include:

–a twenty four bottle minibar.  Personally, we’re thinking that anything past single-digit bottle count is rather…maxi.

–bedroom featuring leopard-print rug and mirrored bedposts. Cue whatever music you find most appropriate for such a situation….UPH is going oldschool with our choice.

–Federer, however, claims to prefer the second bedroom, which the article says has “better feng shui.” And, apparently, chocolate.  Guess Myla and Charlene can take the leopardprint? Never too early for interesting design choices, after all…

Oh, and if you want to lay your head where Federer does? That’ll cost you a cool $3,075 a night.   For those of us stuck in the real world, here’s pictures…
